Carved Amethyst Bead Necklace with 14k gold beads and clasp.

Each natural Amethyst bead is carved like a flower with petals. The stones have a lovely translucency to them. They are graduated, measuring from 7mm to 10mm.

The 14k yellow gold clasp is a modified barrel style with a tongue and insert mechanism. There are 12 small gold beads placed along the strand. The beads are strung on a wire which is quite supple and not stiff or rigid. The necklace lays nicely without any kinks or breaks.

This necklace is beautiful and is not costume jewelry. It is crafted with natural Amethyst stones and 14k gold. It is well made and in very good vintage condition. Can be worn dressed up or down. It makes a lovely and colorful alternative to wearing pearls. Ageless and timeless addition to your jewelry wardrobe!
